INDIAN ECONOMICS SERVICE EXAM PREPARATION (UPSC)
BANK PO, SSC, CLERK
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) scheduled IBPS Clerk 2017 exam at the end of the year. Approx 8.5 lacs students participate in this IBPS Clerk Recruitment.
If you wish to have a job as the staff among the various available government services such as the PSUs, then SSC or the Staff Selection Commission examination is the one you need to appear for. However, an important thing to note down here is that there is no common examination for the selection of such staff; different exams take place all round the year and all of these are conducted at different locations. This is the reason why SSC is known as an examination for multi-tasking staff vacancies. This examination is basically responsible for employment in the non-technical group and for non-gazette posts in the ministry or in the departments of the Government of India. Every year, numerous SSC recruitment exams, take place. Some are for Higher Secondary applicants and others for Graduate applicants. In addition to this, a number of isolated interviews are also carried out for isolated posts. Some people consider SSC examination and banking examination as the similar, but both of them are exactly different from each other. Banking examination recruits employees for different positions in the public sector banks only, across the country. Bank recruitment exams are based on accountancy, mathematics and other general intelligence and reasoning. It is not easy to clear the banking exams especially those that have been designed for the PO-Clerk posts. Moreover, there is a different eligibility criterion for each of the positions. Following a banking exam, an applicant has to pass the interview process which as well is quite tough and complicated.
